Offerista Group has introduced a new business unit “International Sales” in order to operate even more internationally. The newly created position of Director of International Sales is being held by Frederick Salesse. The new unit is based at the Offerista Group Austria in Vienna reporting directly to Offerista Group GmbH in Berlin. As a shopper marketing network, the company offers individually targeted, digital solutions for location-based offer and store marketing.


Vienna, 23 March 2021 – Frederick Salesse (33) in the position as director of international sales is responsible for the expansion, merger and consolidation of all international sales activities. Salesse provides many years of sales experience and an international background to this newly created position. He has been working in sales for Offerista Group Austria (formerly for five years and therefore knows the company very well.


Acting even more internationally as a shopper marketing network

“The new unit is an essential step towards operating even more internationally,” Salesse summarises the objective of the newly created department. Offerista Group is already active in 17 countries with over 1,600 customers (mainly retail and brands). As a shopper marketing network, Offerista Group reaches up to 39.5 million consumers per month and helps stationary retailers to increase shop visits through digital offer communication.

“This European market leadership will be substantially strengthened and further expanded. In the new International Sales division, transnational sales activities are focused and targeted even more precisely. The goal is to provide a transnational service to offer retailers digital trade marketing solutions – based on the premise: Everything comes from one source with a single contact person. This significantly reduces the effort for the customers.” says Salesse.

The new unit is based at the Offerista Group Austria in Vienna, reporting directly to Offerista Group GmbH. With the headquarters being based in Berlin, and other locations in Dresden, Budapest, Bucharest, Essen, Sofia and Vienna, Offerista Group currently employs more than 120 people.


Frederick Salesse’s background

Salesse has been working at Offerista Group Austria since October 2016. He started as a Key Account Manager and became Senior Key Account Manager in June 2020 – a position he held until January 2021. Throughout his time at the Offerista Group Austria, he has been in charge of well-known retailers such as Hornbach, Media Markt or Billa Plus. Prior to his time at Offerista, the sales professional worked for the American e-commerce company Groupon as well as the international hotel operating company Accor. He studied Tourism & Leisure Business at Modul University Vienna and Online Marketing at the Werbeakademie Wien.

But it is not only his ten years of sales experience that distinguish Salesse for this position, but also his own international background. Born in England, he grew up trilingual (German, English and French) in Germany – as his mother is from England and his father from France – where he also lived for several years. After that, he had his residence in Paris. For more than 15 years now – and thus his longest station – he has lived in Vienna. When asked what nationality he considers himself, he has a clear answer: European.
